14/04/2013 – Beyond judgements 台南一日工作坊:超越批評

The insights that I have gained on the attitude of non-judgement have been among the most useful and practical to my personal development. That is the reason that here, on this blog, I have written a number of articles on this subject.

In the period that I have been writing these articles I have also been experimenting a lot with the ideas presented in them, and I have become confident that those ideas can serve as an important foundation of the personal philosophy of many people. That’s why I have been busy with trying to develop a one-day workshop around the subject of going beyond judgements.

On April 4th I will conduct this workshop for the very first time, in Tainan City, Taiwan. The feedback on this workshop will help me to further develop my ideas on how to conduct a workshop on this specific subject in the future.

對於非論斷態度的觀察,是對我個人成長而言最有用也最實際的收穫之一。那也是為什麼,在我的部落格裡,我寫了多篇有關這個主題的文章。

在發表網誌文章的期間裡,我也試著實驗文章裡提到的想法,我也感到越來越有信心,這些想法可以在許多人生命中建立個人哲學的重要基礎。這也就是為什麼我一直試著發展出以超越批評為主題的一日工作坊。

4月14日,我將在台南舉行第一次的超越批評一日工作坊。有關這次工作坊的意義與建議,將會進一步幫肋我發展出關於這個主題工作坊的更多想法。

1月份的滿月靜坐在27日,正好是個禮拜天。所以這次我們將兩個活動結合,時間從下午6:00~9:00,歡迎參加。

公開講座–超越批評

「在壞事和好事的觀念之外,還有一個地方,我在那裡等待你。」-魯米

造成我們和自我分裂,以及人際關係不睦的最強大觀念之一,就是「好與壞」的觀念。一旦這個觀念被我們接受認定為事實,我們的思考開始產生一些無可避免地造成痛苦的想法,例如:

  • 對[某人某事]而言,我不夠好。
  • 我必需要改進。
  • 我比[某人]好。
  • 其他人不值得擁有[某件事]。
  • 這個世界應該是[某個樣子]。

然而,一旦我們超越好與壞的想法,我們幾乎立即發展出理解、自信和慈悲。在這次講座裡,我們將會:

  • 探討存在內心裡的批評
  • 建立對批評的認識
  • 探索超越批評的道路

你能在靜坐中享受那份寧靜美好嗎?還是愈坐愈想睡?帶著你在靜坐中面臨的挑戰來吧。

來自荷蘭的Ilyaz最近剛在Wolfgang Bischoff(沃夫剛老師)的指導下,完成為期三週的守靜,而在守靜期間,他每日進行17小時的靜坐練習。這是Ilyaz連續第二年的三週守靜練習,他很期待能夠將守靜過程中獲得的寶貴經驗,和練習靜坐的朋友們分享。
這講座的主題在分析靜坐練習中遭遇的困難,並且探討這些困難的可能解決方案。為了能夠發揮講座的最大效益,我們歡迎欲參加的朋友們先準備靜坐練習的相關問題,在講座上提出分享。以下先提出幾個問題供大家參考:

  • 我並不享受靜坐的過程,所以一點也不期待靜坐練習。我要如何才能夠享受靜坐?
  • 為什麼在靜坐後,反而比靜坐前感到疲累?可以如何改善?
  • 我的靜坐練習就像一場內心的戰爭。我要如何才能停止和自己的戰爭呢?
  • 其他人好像都能夠平和地靜坐,但在我自己的靜坐練習中,我卻無法感受平靜?我是不是哪裡做錯了呢?
  • 我原本打算進行靜坐練習,結果反而越來越煩惱。是不是我對靜坐的了解不夠呢?

Ilyaz has recently completed a three weeks of silence practice under the guidance of Wolfgang Bischoff, in which the intention is to practice meditation for 17 hours a day. It is the second year in a row that he has completed this practice and is now looking forward to sharing the most valuable lessons learned through this practice with other students of meditation.

This workshop will be of interest for all students of meditation, as the intention of the workshop is the analyse the problems encountered in the practice of meditation and to explore solutions for these problems. In order to get the most benefit from the workshop, participants are invited to prepare questions on their meditation practice beforehand. A few questions are given below for inspiration:

  • I do not enjoy my meditation so I do not look forward to it. How can I start enjoying my meditation more?
  • Why do I feel more tired after meditation than before meditation? What can I do about it?
  • My meditation feels like an inner battle. How do I stop fighting myself?
  • Other people seem to be meditating peacefully, but I don’t experience that in my own practice. Is there something wrong with me?
  • I intend to sit for meditation but I only end up worrying. Is there something I do not understand about meditation?

課程簡介
Ilyaz的整合式課程將結合哈達瑜珈、呼吸心法、放鬆練習,以及課程的最核心-靜坐練習。每星期兩小時的課程中,第一個小時將進行哈達瑜珈的練習,從體位法練習中訓練心靈的覺知與專注力,再到呼吸與放鬆練習,使身體和心靈為靜坐做最好的準備。

Hello everyone, Ilyaz is planning to start his own integrated yoga class in Taipei. Please refer to the following information and if you’re interested, please leave us your contact details. Class introduction
Ilyaz’s integrated yoga class includes hatha, paranayama (breathing practices), relaxation and the core of the class- meditation. In the first hour of each session, he will guide participants through hatha yoga practices, after which paranayama and relaxation practices will ensue to prepare the body and mind for the most essential part of the session, meditation.
